The Best Dungeons & Dragons Memes of the Week (June 9, 2023)

I once embarked on a brave quest to find a group to play Dungeons & Dragons with. Armed with my character sheet, dice, and an unwavering optimism, I did not know that the journey ahead would be filled with more twists and turns than a dungeon's labyrinth. 

My first attempt was at the local board game shop, where I boldly posted a flyer seeking adventurers and embellished with a dragon doodle that was admittedly more cute than intimidating. Days went by, and I anxiously checked the bulletin board each morning, only to find my flyer untouched and gathering dust. It seemed that the local townsgeeks were more interested in Magic the Gathering  than collaborative roleplaying. 

Undeterred, I turned to the digital realm and joined an online forum dedicated to tabletop gaming. With renewed hope, I crafted a carefully worded post that showcased my passion for roleplaying and my desire to embark on an epic D&D campaign. Within minutes, the responses flooded in, but they weren't exactly what I had anticipated. Instead of serious inquiries into my endeavor, I received an unending deluge of Dungeons & Dragons memes. Friends, I would be lying if I said I was disappointed. Though I never did find that group to play with, I welcomed the alternate path to dank Dungeons & Dragons memes with an open heart and an open mind.
